From that modest beginning, this homesteader-at-heart now raises a multitude of heritage breeds including Red Wattle hogs, Spanish goats, Narragansett turkeys, Black Jersey Giants, Silver Appleyard ducks and Freedom Ranger chickens. Farm to School & Community Ed June 24, 2022 Market Mobile Gets a New Ordering Platform Since 2020, we have been working with RI-based developers Jake and Co. to both support the existing Market Mobile platform — now over 10 years old! — and build a new technology platform for Market Mobile’s future. This much needed upgrade makes ordering and check-out easier for shoppers and gives farmers and food producers streamlined tools to connect with a variety of customers. Market Mobile June 23, 2022 Local Farm Spotlight: Brandon Family Farm The list of certified organic produce grown at Brandon Farm reads like a who’s who in a farm catalog. While the usual varieties are all present, there are also some not so often seen offerings such as sunchokes and fava beans.
